Your Journey at Lake Trail
At Lake Trail, we believe growth happens in circles, not just rows. Following Jesus is a journey we were never meant to take alone. Here are the ways you can move from the “outer circle” into the heart of our community.
Baptism: Go Public with Your Faith
Baptism is the outward expression of an inward change. It is a beautiful, biblical picture of being buried with Christ in death and raised to walk in newness of life (Romans 6:4).
If you have recently trusted in Jesus for salvation or have never been baptized by immersion as a believer, we would love to celebrate this important milestone with you. As part of this process, we invite you to meet with the elders to share your testimony, discuss the meaning of baptism, and prayerfully discern next steps together.
Membership: Joining the Family
We don’t see membership as joining a club, but as committing to a family. Membership is about saying, “I am responsible for this local body of believers, and they are responsible for me.” It’s about being “rooted” together. (Acts 2:42-47)
Our membership class covers our mission, our beliefs, and how we function as a church.
Life Groups: Living Life Together
On Sunday mornings, we gather, and Life Groups are for living out a lifestyle of worship. These are small groups that meet in homes throughout Cleburne to study the Word, pray for one another, and “do life” together.
We have groups for every stage of life. Find one near you and start building real relationships.
Get Involved: Serving the Body
Every believer has been given a unique gift by God to build up the church. When you serve, you aren’t just “helping out”—you are participating in the mission of God.
From greeting at the doors to teaching our kids or helping with technology, there is a place for your hands and heart at Lake Trail.

When you arrive, look for the “Lake Trail” signs. Our greeting team will be at the front doors to help you find the coffee, the kids’ check-in, and a seat!
